Order & Shipping Policy
Hempitecture arranges and purchases shipping as a courtesy to customers at no additional cost. All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another email with resources and information on working with our products when your order has shipped.
Shipping rates are unpredictable and can be expensive for certain locations. Additionally, these 3rd party shipping companies are responsible for all tracking information and shipping timelines. Hempitecture is able to provide shipping arrival estimates based on the carrier’s indications, but these estimates are not guaranteed. Please note if your shipment is delayed once picked up, we cannot offer any refunds (see Refunds, Returns, & Exchanges below). We understand freight shipping can be unpredictable and frustrating which is why we want you to understand how we arrange and manage your order's shipment.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout as part of our innovative e-commerce platform. Hempitecture uses 3rd party shipping services and does not charge additional cost to shipments.
Liftgate Delivery: If you selected "No lift gate" for delivery, you must have a forklift or pallet jack on site to unload the insulation. There are no exceptions to this, you may not unload it by hand or you will incur extra charges that you are responsible for.
Material: HempWool insulation arrives at the job site, palletized and wrapped in a stretch wrap along the sides, exposed at the top. Each pallet weighs 300-350 lbs with dimensions 48” x 48” x 96”.

You can avoid the cost of shipping with free local pickup at our warehouse locations in Idaho, Tennessee, Ohio, and Quebec. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and we will email you when your order is ready for pick up with instructions connecting you to the pickup facility.
All warehouses are avaialbe for pick-ups Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm excluding federal holidays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
HempWool is palletized and stretch-wrapped.

We do not offer International Shipping at this time. We can, however, deliver to anywhere in the US - which includes shipping docks. If you are interested in shipping internationally, you need to book your own freight from the US. For more information please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Hempitecture is not responsible for these charges.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available via your PRO #.
If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of the estimated delivery date on your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at email@example.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We are unable to send this material to P.O. boxes. Please make sure that you have a physical address for delivery.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Once your shipment has been picked up and is in transit, we cannot offer any refunds due to delayed deliveries, order changes, or any other reason excluding damage to your insulation.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
If you have excess material from your project or would like to return your insulation, you can participate in Hempitecture's no waste program which will repurchase your material in its original condition at 50% of your material cost. Hempitecture will arrange the pickup of your material from your project site.
